Dear students and families,
I am delighted to introduce you to EF Academy Pasadena, where we come together as a community of learners to become global changemakers. Our curriculum is custom-built to develop the crucial skillsets and mindsets to be Learners, Leaders, Scholars and Global Citizens. We position students for competitive college admissions as they develop both a robust transcript and portfolio of meaningful work under the guidance of University and Academic Advisors. In our fantastic southern California location, we are also immersed in a rich landscape of top colleges and universities that can be our partners in preparing students for the next stage of their educational journey.
Our signature Global Leadership Program combines the best of student-centered, project-based learning with our amazing location. In it, students study global issues facing their generation and develop solutions that are implementable from local to international scales. They engage in hours of experiential learning, deepening their projects through off-campus field study or internships at neighboring industry leaders in science, technology and art, or nearby hubs for humanities research. We ensure that students use experiential learning opportunities to explore career applications of their favorite school subjects. Applied learning is deep learning, and our curriculum constantly connects core content to real world problem-solving.
Our weekend activities always inspire – with outdoor activities in the mountains or at the ocean, cultural activities in Pasadena and downtown Los Angeles, engagement with the exciting Hollywood movie industry and so much more. While the walls of our campus surround our beautiful 16-acre home in Pasadena, the opportunities for enjoying life and learning in and around Los Angeles County are limitless.
