A holistic learning
experience

Our international school in the UK follows the philosophy that students succeed when they feel cared for. As a result, our educational curriculum focuses on both academic and personal growth.

Academics

We are dedicated to ensuring students at EF Academy Torbay feel comfortable and supported by their teachers, Pathway Manager and University Advisor throughout their studies abroad. We offer two highly respected academic programs – the IB Diploma and A-Levels – each of which allows students to focus on developing their interests and reaching their potential.

Most students at our international high school apply to universities in the UK, but our experienced university guidance counselor also supports students who wish to send their applications to schools in the U.S. and their home countries. This personalized university guidance process is offered as part of both programs at EF Academy Torbay:

Clubs and activities

Outside of class, students at EF Academy Torbay take on their own challenges in clubs and academic extension activities, developing skills for the classroom and for the future. Our safe environment for exploration and robust activities schedule give international high school students the best experience of studying in the UK.

Torbay's seaside location and UNESCO Global Geopark Status make our town perfect for outdoors and water activities. On campus, students take part in sports and organized clubs ranging from art and photography to debating and robotics.
